We own a 3.8l lacrosse that dex kool nearly killed, even though i replaced it with a decent antifreeze at. Have coolant leak on hose 13 changed it and still leaks can smell anti freeze in engine compartment trying to figure out if water pump is going bad or the thermostat. If the plastic connectors come out without cracking/breaking, you might reuse them If not, you must and i stress must' clean out the water ports on the engine so you won't have any leaking when you reassembly all the parts

We’re getting it on a rack tomorrow to see where it’s coming from but i know next to nothing about cars and am worried to death it’s a gasket, can anybody weigh in and give me their thought? Its been a few months now and im finally trying to fix this issue
