I'm trying to convert my game from.gba format to.sav, and vice versa, so that i could jump easily between emulation and native gameplay However i haven't found much success with the conversion tool you've made. Searching here did not really come up with a solid answer, as it was suggested i change the file name, but just changing the file extension from.sav to.srm did not work (the file is not recognized by the game). Run the conversion tool from requirement 4 to convert the.sav files to.json open the oldlevel.sav.json file created (it will probably be very large, but notepad++ worked for me) and search for the first 8 chars from step 5 if it doesn't find those characters, try again with an even older backup (if you don't have one, you're probably sol)
My server refused to update the server settings file I followed others advise deleting the worldoption.sav file and it did swap to using the palworldsettings.ini but then again refused to change settings The way i fixed it was creating a new world and putting the settings i wanted and then went through the world file and took the worldoption.sav and replaced the one on my dedicated server.
