I get the overwolf dislike but the standalone does its job very well and is overall just easier to navigate than some of the alternatives.

The overwolf launcher, which is the official way to manage and use curseforge hosted mod packs is a very large bad of hot garbage It is riddled with ads and takes up a massive amount of pc resources which if you don't have a beast of a machine can directly impact your game. Overwolf bought curseforge from twitch, so it’s a legit client Those are legitimate concerns but they don’t make the overwolf client “malware” imo.

If i delete curseforge/overwolf, then install the curseforge standalone, will i have to reinstall all my addons I currently have 80 addons and it would be a pia to reinstall them all let alone adjust all the settings again.
