I have been looking into this all morning and am really hoping there is a simple solution to this Currently it takes around 1/2 hour to merge 500 (to both word and pdf). I have a document that has 7 mailmerge address fields

Addline1, addline2, addline3, addline4, add. The fact it produces word documents is fine but as we have so many records to merge to pdf i was wondering if removing the merge to word documents would speed up the merge process 2 i have a bunch of mail merge templates setup, when i merge the documents i want to split the results into separate files each one with a name based on the merge field “filenumber”
The code i have currently is
Sub splitter() ' based on a macro by doug robbins to save each letter created by a mailmerge as a separate file. Here are the steps i used Open a new document and click on the step by step mail merge wizard To add the variable hyperlink go to insert>quick parts>fields select hyperlink on the left and click okay use alt + f9 to see the hyperlink field code
Mail merge is when you create a template (for example a letter in word), then use that to create 500 new emails based on information in a list (like a spreadsheet of names and addresses) In my c# application i would like to generate a report (word document) from data in my application, i figured that the best way to do this would be to perform something like a mail merge using the data source from my application. I am trying to add in percentages into a mail merge I have see other posts saying to press alt f9 to create a mergefield and then add *100#0% and then toggle twice
I'm not too sure how to toggle.
0 i am using word 2021 I know from searching that people say word still can't do a many to one mailmerge, but if you use nextif {} and variables to compare things with the same record number, is this possible with the merge fields or even vba? I have employee data in excel and i can generate any employee What i would like to do is have a mail merge that prints out mailing labels and, if the country column in the spreadsheet is blank, it skips it
This is basically what happens by default, but as far as i can tell, because i have the country merge field on a new line, if it's empty, there is still a whole blank line.
