I'm new to 3ds max as of today I need to connect one side of this mesh to the other How can i select vertices and create faces from them Like this picture.thanks for any and all help!

There’s currently no way to create a face/surface like this based only from points The easiest way to do this is probably to build some sketch lines connecting those points, then build a patch or loft surface based on those lines. I got used that in blender i can select one face of the object or one vertex or three edges and invert selection by hitting cntrl+i which will select all vertices that were unselected and deselect those were selected so basically will invert the selection but is there such option in maya? I had no idea how to word the title this question, sorry

I made an illustrator file, which i exploded, then joined again to make sure was making a closed polyline

I extruded it in the attempts to subtract it from an object Here is an image of the output I can't figure out how to create a face. Hi all, i find myself wanting to find the centre of faces that are irregular polygons or have a mixture of curved and straight sides, and i am wondering if there is a better/easier way to find the centre of these faces rather than drawing a bunch of lines and doing lots of maths

Hello all, as the title says I've made a face based family When i group that family with its host everything is fine But when i make a copy of the group, the copy in the new group loses its host and in this case more importantly its elevation

Is there anyway to fix or avoid this
