Hey all, can someone post what the medical priorty codes are If i'm not mistaken it sounds as if they just started using this new code system Priority 1,2,3,4 etc.are all of the codes the same for baltimore & surrounding counties

This Nerdy Girl Is All You Need 🤩 : NerdyGoneWild

Here is a list of current dispatch codes used by fire and ems It helps with unit assignments and givin the responding crews an initial heads up. Does anyone have any information on the priority codes for ems dispatched in dane county

This is as much info as i've gathered

It seems delta is higher priority than charlie. The fact remains though that medical priority has designed a system that completely ignores the recommendations of nims 700 and ics 100 with regards to the recommendation of using plain english and eventually completely phasing out codes And the sad thing is that they will tell you their way is better. Codes and patient priority are used commonly, but are opposite of each other

Are all priority 1 calls considered code 3 I saw on the dpd wiki page that all cuttings, shootings, person in danger calls are considered code 3, but i'm wondering if there will ever be code 3 calls for priority 2 like car crash or a robbery. For the new proqa codes the boec uses.has anyone figured out what the 'priority' code is before the proqa calls type Priority 2, 6 delta 1 etc

I have heard everything from a priority 1 all the way to a priority 6

I believe this would be ems priority levels Possibly with 1 which is lowest priority, 2 being intermediate, and 3 being high priority Chesapeake fire is using something similar, they have alpha to echo with echo being high priority/someone is literally dying
