Didnt to any changes to my pc software or hardware wise Fix that worked for me was manually deleting the data folder and verifying integrity of game files again via steam. Nprotect gameguard is not updating Tried turning off firewall and clicked around 20 times on retry and nothing happens

Fixed the issue by disabling ipv6. Keep trying to play the new update with my friends but i am constantly disconnecting from games I tried hosting myself, but all that ended up happening is my friends disconnecting from me It wasn't a problem before, and i am still able to talk to my friends on discord while disconnecting so i am not losing internet
Unfortunately i cant blame helldivers itself for the bad update system, cuz at the end of the day the game relies on steam's content distribution system (steampipe) which is supposed to make updates more efficient The guide tries to fix one of the worst bottlenecks slow patching caused by steam writing temp files to an hdd instead of an ssd.
