Traxxas marketing has obviously paid off over the years Btw this 8t motor really rips, top speed is increased significantly without sacrificing low end torque and control. I'm used to having to change most everything on a new vehicle to get it to perform as i like but this one actually surprised me i guess as they took the correct gears out and put in something completely inappropriate for it's current configuration
In the end, it will perform like i want. My stock 21t traxxas motor was bad after just 2 and a half years at the most It is heavy so the capability can suffer somewhat, but it's still a great truck

Is it ok to keep running it like this Or should i flip the diff gears and correct the motor leads ? I’m wheeling a trx4 blazer and i am having some serious steering flex, i’ve called traxxas and i’ve checked the servo.the servo is fine and traxxas wasn’t really a big help I found a youtube video with my exact problem but it seems the only solution is fabricate something or delete the.
An unintentional, but very pleasant, side effect of my setup is the springs manage to hold the chassis with added inner fenders, steel bumpers and sliders, the injora xj body and a traxxas 5000mah 3s battery at the ride height i wanted while still allowing enough chassis roll that it looks like a 1:1 on old leaf springs, backyard modified for.
I know traxxas rates it for 9.6v but ? I run sidewinders in my other crawlers but am putting this truck together and already had the esc and a 3s low voltage. Just fyi, the traxxas big bore series of shocks are the same thing as the dravtec All internal parts are interchangable and if you buy the dravtec upper shock caps you can install them on the traxxas big bores.
